Are you frustrated with your internet service in King William? The Board of Supervisors has authorized a group of concerned citizens in King William led by King William’s Economic Development Authority and citizen Roger Spangler to aggressively pursue a plan to bring true internet broadband to King William. Representatives of the School System are also on board with this effort. The group has met several times in the past month and also with a provider of broadband services.
In order to gauge the interest in bringing better broadband to King William, the group has drafted a survey that will be on line for thirty (30) days via Survey Monkey starting March 3. Please take the time to participate in this survey. It is very important we get your feedback. Try not to limit your imagination….think BIG. Your ideas will help us better plan and construct better internet services for King William with better access and may reduce costs. Access to the worldwide web via the internet will continue to become a bigger and more significant part of our lives. For business owners the internet is a MUST tool to have in order to compete and be successful in today’s world.
The group is also planning a broadband public information session on Thursday March 16 from 6 – 8pm in the cafeteria at King William High School. Please make plans to attend as your input is vital to the success of this project….and the future of King William County.
