Help Make a Child's Dream Come True This Christmas
Many years ago, King William County citizens came together to start a program to assist parents in providing Christmas wishes for the children of King William County and the Town of West Point. A non-profit organization called King William Emergency Ministry Inc., provided the gifts that were delivered to families each Christmas season.
In 2010, they passed the torch on, and the Christmas Dreams program was born. With the assistance of the King William Department of Social Services, they were able to continue to provide for community children, including infants through the age of 18. With the help of donations from individuals, churches, businesses, and civic organizations, Christmas Dreams has been able to meet the needs of community children with gifts to supplement families’ Christmas. In 2021, they provided gifts for 346 children.
